The Elkton Base Ball Club
Welcome to ElktonBBC.com, the online home of the Elkton Eclipse! The Elkton Eclipse is a 19th century base ball team made up of players for Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. They are based on an actual team from Elkton, MD that was founded in 1866 under the same name. Their home field rests on ten acres of beautiful farmland at Terrapin Station Winery in Elkton, Maryland, and is one of the best playing surfaces in the Mid-Atlantic League.
The Eclipse have been one of the most successful 19th century base ball teams since their re-establisthment in 2006. They are the 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2012 Maryland State Champions.
